Eligibility & Educational Qualifications
Varies by post: Any Degree with D.Ed in Mental Retardation or B.Ed. (Special Education in Mental Retardation) or any qualification prescribed by the National Rehabilitation Council of India; SSLC/PUC/Degree with Nursery Teacher Training Course Certificate (NTT) issued by recognized competent authority; B.A. English with 50% and M.A. English with 50% and B.Ed. with 50%; B.A. History/Geography/Economics/Political Science/Sociology with minimum 50% aggregate and B.Ed. in relevant subject with minimum 50% aggregate; M.A. in Sanskrit with minimum 55% marks. Minimum 3 years teaching experience required for all posts.
